Kheema fry

saw this on youtube.




Ingredients:

300g kheema
1 small tomato chopped
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 turmeric powder
garam masala
2 cardamon pods
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp jeera
1 tsp ginger garlic paste (heap)

garnish:
coriander
green chilli

Preperation:
1. Oil + 5 min+ jeera + cardamon + black peppers + 2 min + onion + 5min + add spices i.e salt, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala + 1 min + gin gar paste + 2 min + minced beef + start mixing all together, add some water if needed+ add lid+ mix in between for 5 min then uncover + now add tomatoes when kheema is almost cooked + add lid and cover for few more minutes + keep mixing in between until all tromato is squashed + last add frozen peas when kheema is almost dried up + coriander and G.chillies + 5 min

I love this recipe, how ever next time i will make a little bit more spicy:

1000g/ 1kg/ 2.2 lb - kheema
3 small/ 2 Big tomato chopped (i.e 2C chopped)
1B (1.5 C approx) onion chopped
2.5 tsp tsp red chilli powder
2.5 tsp tsp salt
3/4 tsp turmeric powder
3/4 tsp garam masala
6 cardamon pods
3/4 tsp black pepper / pepper powder
2 tsp jeera
3 tsp ginger garlic paste (heap)

Kobbari Gasala Chicken

This is a very popular Andhra/ Telangana Chicken Curry.

I was yearning to eat this chicken. I was able to find one recipe online similar to the one i had at home. went back to my childhood days



Cook time: 45min
Ingredients:
  • 2kg Chicken (cut into pieces)
  • Whole Garam Masala (Miriyalu, Elachi seeds, Chekka, Shajeera)
  • 1 Whole Big Onion Chopped
  • 3-4 Ginger pieces and 1 inch Garlic piece all minced [or 1 Tbs ginger garlic paste]
  • [2tsp Gasala Roasted and 4Tbs Coconut] ground to paste
  • 2tsp Chilli powder
  • 1/2tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbs Dhania powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
I dint have yogurt (1cup) and it still tasted great

Steps:
  • Add Oil once its heated then add Whole Garam Masala after 2 min add the Onion, Saute till its transparent
  • Then add the ginger garlic Paste, fry for 3-4 min, the add the chicken fry on high heat for 5-6 min until its more then half cooked.
  • reduce the heat and add kobbari-Gasala paste, Turmeric, Chilli powder, Salt and Dhania powder, cook for another 10 minutes or until the oil separates. add the yogurt (opt) cook for 4-5 min
  • Now add about 1cup water, mix and close the lead for 5 min, if chicken is cooked then open the lid and cook till the liquid becomes slightly thick.
  • Just before finishing add 1/2tsp Garam Masala and Garnish Cilantro leaves.
